The Furee offers natural fur outerwear and accessories for customers who appreciate distinctive textures, considered design, and personalized style.

Our collection includes mink fur coats, fox fur styles, men's outerwear, fur hats, collars, and other cold-weather accessories. Selected styles may also be available with made-to-measure options.

Our work

No middle, no runaround.

Most fur gets bought from a factory and relabelled. We buy the pelts, dress them, cut them and finish the garment ourselves. That is why we can tell you exactly which farm a coat came from, and why a piece can be repaired a decade later.

About forty people work in the workshop. Nearly all of them have been with us for more than five years, and the two who started the company still check every coat before it leaves.

Materials

Four furs, and why we use them

Mink

Short and dense. Our tailoring fur — it holds a shoulder line and lasts for decades.

Fox

Long and light. Used at the collar, the scarf and the cape, where movement matters.

Raccoon

Deep and hard-wearing. Carries the men's coats and anything meant for snow.

Coyote & lynx

Natural, untamed tones for the pieces that should look like fur, and nothing else.
